The irony here is that I am writing this on a glorious sunshine filled day!
If I could wear my rainboots 24/7, I would. They’re my outdoor house slippers. I use them when I get the mail, tend to the ducks, and, yes, splashing in the water! My favorite brand thus far is Sloggers, brand. They come in a variety of colors and styles (I have basic black) and they are MADE IN THE USA! Plus, they are super comfortable and made from 100% recycled material! What’s not to love?
Without rain, there would be no backyard waterfalls that I can enjoy on these super sunny days. Or ridiculously comfortable rain boots to wear. You know you want to splash around in this!!!
Modern Day Homesteading 
I’ve always loved rainy days, too. So peaceful–and an invitation to curl up with a good book (not that I ever do, but I can still appreciate the feeling.)
